Last updated: July 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Arrendadora AVO (“AVO”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal information of visitors to our website, users of our contact forms, and users who interact with our advertising campaigns on social media. AVO is based in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, and processes personal data primarily in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). If you are located outside Mexico, please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in Mexico.

1. Who we are

Arrendadora AVO / AVO Real Estate (“AVO”) is responsible for the collection and processing of your personal information as described in this Policy.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact information: full name, email address, phone number.
  • Preference and interest data: type of property you’re interested in, location, approximate budget, whether you’re looking for a primary residence or an investment, and your expected decision timeline.
  • Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and data collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).
  • Transaction-related data: if you move forward with a purchase, sale, or lease, we may request additional information such as government ID, proof of address, tax information, and financial information necessary to formalize the transaction before a Mexican notary public and/or to verify payment capacity. This additional data is only requested at advanced stages of a specific transaction, not through the initial contact form.

3. Sensitive personal information

AVO does not collect sensitive personal information (such as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, health status, genetic information, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, political opinions, or sexual orientation) through our contact forms, ads, or website.

4. How we use your information

Primary purposes (necessary to provide the service you request):

  • Contacting you with information about properties you’re interested in.
  • Following up on your inquiry via WhatsApp, email, or phone.
  • Scheduling and coordinating in-person or virtual property tours.
  • Where applicable, managing the purchase or lease process, including coordination with property owners, notaries, and other involved parties.

Secondary purposes (not required for our core service — you may opt out at any time without affecting the primary relationship):

  • Sending you information about new listings or promotions that may interest you.
  • Internal analytics and evaluating the performance of our marketing campaigns.
  • Improving our products, services, and content based on your preferences.

5. Your choices and opt-outs

If you do not want your data used for the secondary purposes listed above, you may opt out at any time by emailing info@arrendadoraavo.com with the subject line “Opt out of marketing.”

6. Sharing your information

We may share your information, strictly as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, with:

  • Property owners we represent, when you express interest in a specific listing.
  • Advertising and technology platforms (e.g., Meta/Facebook, Google), solely as technical processors for our contact forms and ad campaigns, subject to their own privacy policies.
  • Notaries public, land registry authorities, and other third parties whose involvement is necessary to formalize a transaction you choose to pursue.
  • Competent authorities, when required by a valid legal request.

AVO does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for purposes other than those described here.

7. Your rights and how to exercise them

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@arrendadoraavo.com with your full name, contact information, and a description of the request. We will respond within a reasonable time frame, consistent with applicable law.

8. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website and advertising campaigns may use cookies, tracking pixels (such as the Meta Pixel), and similar technologies to remember your browsing preferences, measure the performance of our ad campaigns, and show you relevant ads on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect some site functionality.

9. Data security

AVO has implemented reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

10. Children’s privacy

Our services are directed at individuals 18 years of age or older with legal capacity to enter into real estate transactions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. International visitors

If you are visiting our website or submitting a lead form from the United States, Canada, or elsewhere outside Mexico, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in Mexico, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence. By submitting your information, you consent to this transfer.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page along with an updated “last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

13. Governing law

This Policy is governed by the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and other applicable laws of Mexico. Any complaints regarding the treatment of your personal data may be directed to Mexico’s National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI), or the applicable successor authority.
